COVID-19 Plan & Updates
Wayne Water Districts understands the critical role of water in regards to basic needs, health and overall well-being. This means that in order for our customers to be healthy and safe we must also keep our staff and families safe to continue maintaining this essential water system. With that in mind, we are aware that our customers still need services and we have implemented the following temporary changes to our operations until further notice.
We are currently not taking payments in our office. Please make payments using the following options:
-Pay by phone (24/7) at 1-866-697-3612
-Online Payment (24/7) at www.waynewaterdistricts.com/bill-payment
-Automatic Bank Draft (call our office for details & setup)
-Drop Box located at our drive-thru (24/7)
-Drive-thru window (8:30-5:00, M-F)
There are no additional fees for using any of our payment options.
Office hours are 8:30-5:00, M-F. Visits inside the office will be restricted to new service, disconnection of service, setting up bank draft, new taps or any scheduled appointment for a service not listed above. In most cases and for a limited time, we are suspending the requirement that these transactions be handled in person, so please call before coming. Any business in our office will be limited to one (1) person per account unless special assistance is needed.
Due to a higher than usual call volume, if you receive a voice mail when calling in, we request you leave one (1) message. Someone will return your call before the end of the day.
Many forms are accessible on our website or can be sent to you via email. Please note: if you choose to fax or email forms for any service requests, it is your responsibility to follow up if you have not gotten a confirmation from us that the transaction is complete. This confirmation will be required if any dispute arises with connection or disconnection dates.
We understand how difficult times are right now. Effective March 16th, we suspended disconnections for non-payment until May 11th and will not be adding late fees or service fees during this time. Until disconnects resume, you will continue to receive regular bills, but you will not receive second notices. We encourage customers to stay current with payments to avoid building up large balances for later. For payment arrangements beyond May 11th, you will need to contact our office for additional guidelines.
